International Terrorists

What makes a terrorist “international” from a U.S. standpoint?

International Terrorists:

• Originate outside the U.S.
• Get support from outside the U.S.
   as well as within
• Attack U.S. interests overseas as
well as targets within the U.S.

Here in the U.S., there are few groups with the ability, resources, support, and expertise to target us. But there are numerous terrorist groups around the world. Many target U.S. interests and citizens, but usually only overseas.

"THEY STAND AGAINST US BECAUSE WE STAND IN THEIR WAY"
 PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH
