Anti Terrorism and Counter TerrrorismTrainingAntiterrorism and Counterterrorism Training

Antiterrorism and Counterterrorism are often used interchangeably and even when defined separately, the distinctions are often blurred. Antiterrorism is defined however as those measures, usually passive, that are meant to reduce the vulnerabilities to the public, their families, and communities to terrorist acts. Counterterrorism refers to offensive measures taken to respond to terrorist acts to include the gathering of information and threat analysis in support of these measures.

With that in mind, your role in the war on terror is both antiterrorism and counterterrorism related. We need to create an environment of “watchful alertness” to send the signal of “not in my community”. That is antiterrorism. We also need to provide information to the police when we see something suspicious. That is counterterrorism.

This antiterrorism and counterterrorism training program will help you accomplish these. It will also help you to overcome stereotypes about who might be a terrorist and help to avoid the abuse someone’s rights through ignorance or misunderstanding.

Antiterrorism and counterterrorism training begins with awareness and prevention. Start your antiterrorism and counterterrorism training now.
